373,059. Vehicle bodies. DASTE. M. J., 12, Rue Pierre Lhomme, Courbevoie. Seine, France. Nov. 6, 1931, No. 30799. Convention date, Jan. 17. Addition to 368,512. [Class 108 (i).] In the vehicle body work described in the parent Specification the rounded back part of the body is mounted on the platform by three flexible joints the central one having its axis horizontal and longitudinal while the flanking ones have their axes vertical. The central joint comprises a pin 46 with sleeve 45 connected to the cross member f<2> of the back part f. A co-operating member 41 secured to the platform c surrounds the pin 46 and encloses a mass 44 of rubber which is initially deformed both radially and longitudinally. The flanking flexible joints comprise a vertical pin 36 and sleeve secured to the platform' and surrounded by rubber 35 initially deformed as in the central 'joint the rubber being housed in a member 34 secured to the uprights f<3>. The joints described in Specification 373,058 may be employed.
