Abstract
372,752. Control of A.C. motors. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP HEEMAF, Hengelo, Holland. Feb. 6, 1931, No. 3821. Convention date, Feb. 27, 1930. [Class 38 (iii).] The windings of an induction motor 2 are changed from star to delta or are changed from a lower to a higher voltage during starting by a switch 6 operated by a speed sensitive device such as a centrifugal device 5. The switch 6 may be electromagnetically &c. actuated. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) disclosed also that the device 5 may be replaced by a tachometer generator and a contact-making voltmeter. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
