Abstract
372,726. Casting composite articles. SACHSENWERK LICHT-UND-KRAFTAKT.-GES., Niedersedlitz, Dresden, Germany. Oct. 31, 1930, No. 32759. Convention date, Nov. 18, 1929. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 83 (i).] The parts which hold the assembled laminµ to form a stator core for a dynamo-electric machine are formed round the laminae by the spray casting process. In the form shown, the jacket b is formed round the laminµ a by a spraying operation, may be provided with feet or flanges, and may have ribs occupying dovetail grooves c in the core. In an alternative construction, the cast metal does not surround the outer periphery of the core, but the laminae are held together by a series of bolts and by two end rings formed by the same casting process.
