[Class 116.] In a method of dispensing gas-saturated liquids without loss of gas, the rim of the vessel 11 to be filled, is pressed into contact with a surface 15, and the interior of the vessel is then put into communication with the atmosphere of an intermediate container 7 under pressure and also with the supply container 1, the pressure in the containers 1, 7, being maintained preferably by a fluid under pressure, such as water from a main 4, air or illuminating gas, which is separated from the liquid in the container 1 by a membrane 2, and may be separated from the atmosphere in the container 7 by a similar membrane 18. The vessel 11 is placed upon a platform 12 and a lever 13 is operated to press the vessel against packing 15 on a block 9, through which pass conduits 10, 16 communicating with the vessels 7, 1 respectively, a cock 17 permitting disconnection of the vessel from either or both containers. An ice-chest 8 is provided. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a reference to a form in which the liquid to be dispensed is caused to rise directly into the container 7 before dispensing. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
