[Class 125 (ii).] A device for applying and removing covers from jars, bottles, &c. comprises a flexible rubber disc 2 having a central aperture 5 which is forced over the neck of the jar &c., and a metal core 1 near the periphery of the disc. The core 1 may be circular or rectangular in cross section.
