[Class 59.] A rotary disc kibbling machine for reducing material preparatory to grinding comprises a perforated disc A and resilient or spring-controlled deflector plates or feed cheeks D which press the material through the apertures a as the disc rotates. The plates D are pivoted to a bar E at d or to a lug on the hopper B and are pressed downwardly by springs d<1>. The plates may be cast with the hopper which is held down by springs.
