Abstract

366,740. Spectacles. EGLINGTON, W. D., 100, Lower Addiscombe Road, Croydon. Feb. 19, 1931, No. 5269. [Class 97 (i).] Means for ornamenting spectacles comprises an attachment 4 applied to the spectacle side 2 adjacent the hinge 3. As shown the attachment has legs 5 embracing the side 2 adjacent the hinge plate 6, these legs preferably engaging in grooves in the side. The legs may in addition be pinned or rivetad to the side. In some cases the device 4 may be made integrally with the hinge-plate 6. The hinge is preferably of the kind described in Specification 335,909, [Class 97 (i), Optical systems &c.].
