364,357. Hydraulic transmission of power. ARCHDALE & CO., Ltd., J. and WRIGHT, I. H., Ledsam Street, Birming- ham. Jan. 19, 1931, No. 1756. [Classes 69 (ii) and 135.] In hydraulically operated machine tools, comprising a cylinder b, a pump c of constant capacity, and a pump d of variable capacity, the output of the pump d is regulated, within limits determined by stops i, by means of a piston f in a cylinder g ; liquid passes to or from the cylinder g at a rate determined by a throttle valve under the control of a valve m operated by some moving part of the machine. The throttle valve comprises pairs of adjustable screw plugs l and non-return valves k. Pressure relief valves n are provided.
