Abstract

363,621. Seats. MELDER, H., Mahrisch-Ostrau, Witkowitz, Czecho-Slovakia. Aug. 15, 1930, No. 24492. [Class 52 (ii).] In a seat having a frame made from tubing, the seat proper S is looped around the substantially straight middle portions of supporting springs, which may be padded at 13<1>, and which are secured to side bars 12 of the frame. The springs 19 are either of closed elliptical form, or are provided with U-shaped portions at both front and rear. Slight angular adjustment of the seat and back may be made by means of adjustable hinges 16, 17. Specification 336,012, [Class 52 (ii), Furniture for sitting &c. upon], is referred to.
