Convention date, April 11, 1930. [Class 7 (vi).] For the removal of sludge from the sleevevalve pocket 14, a passage 21 is provided in the cylinder in connection with the intake port 17, a hole 22 connecting the passage to the valve pocket. In a modification, the passage 21 is formed as a groove on the inside of the cylinder. Specifications 306,526, 313,573, and 313,586, [all in Class 7 (vi), Internal-combustion engines, Valves &c. for], are referred to.
