359,859. Well, mine-shaft, and like linings. BRUSCH, F. W., 2, Niemannsweg, Kiel, Germany. March 16, 1931, No. 8039. Convention date, March 18, 1930. [Class 68 (ii).] Metal joist-like piles for forming the peripheral members of well, mine-shaft, and like linings consist of I-section members a having extensions b welded to one of the flanges. Corner pieces may be made by setting the parts b at an angle to the part a. Such piles may be driven so as to form shafts &c. with interior or exterior surfaces smooth, i.e. uninterrupted by the parts a, the shafts, e.g. Figs. 10 and 11, being rectangular, circular, or polygonal in section.
