[Class 103 (ii).] An antidazzle screen or sun visor for use on motor &c. vehicles comprises a panel a pivotally mounted between a pair of spaced brackets l, l<1> secured to the vehicle roof behind the windscreen and adapted either to fold upwardly and forwardly against the roof or to be swung down to an operative position in front of the driver. The panel may be made of sheet metal, plywood, fabric or other opaque material, or of translucent material such as coloured glass, celluloid or the like, or, as shown, it may consist of an opaque portion a, with an attached strip b at its lower edge of tinted celluloid or like material which is brought into or just above the normal line of sight of the driver. The screen is gripped by a pair of clamps e that can be adjusted along a pair of supporting arms d, d<1> having series of apertures h, the arms d, d<1> being rotatable on spindles j, q in the brackets l, l<1>, and being retained in any adjusted position by co-operating serrated discs m, ml pressed into contact by springs n, r<1>. The screen is also adapted to prevent dazzle by reflection from the windscreen of light falling thereon through the rear window from the lamps of a car in the rear.
