Convention date, March 25, 1929. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 37.] Indicating devices for radio receivers comprise stop members 30 mounted around the cover-plate 5, the members 30 having notches 29 engaged by a locking-pin 23 carried in an arm 7 operating the tuning member 9 directly. The pin 23 can be withdrawn by a knob 20, and fine tuning adjustment mechanism 14, 16 may be provided. In a modification, the arm 7 carries a pivoted member provided with a head which engages slots in the upper surfaces of the stop members. In a further modification, Fig. 5, push-button stop members 74 engage a notched pin 65, an intermediate friction wheel 54 being provided in the fine adjustment mechanism. Belt gearing may be employed for the drive. The whole circumference of the dial may be employed for positioning the stops by inserting a two-to-one drive between the arm 7 and the tuning spindle.
