[Class 54.] The closing member b of a telescopic gas holder sealed by sliding packing c is formed as a bell so as to render a roof unnecessary. The upper members may be of larger or smaller diameter than the lower members. German Specifications 281,482 and 447,299 are referred to as describing suitable sliding packing.
