Abstract
353,185. Direct contact steam boilers. COMPAGNIE DES SURCHAUFFEURS, 3, Rue La BoÙtie, Paris. June 16, 1930, No. 18407. Convention date, April 29. [Class 123 (ii).] Feedwater is sprayed through a pipe 11 projecting into a drum or pipe 1 through which steam from a superheater 4 is circulated. Part of the steam led off from the drum is returned to the superheater through a pipe 5 and part is taken to the consumer through a pipe 6. The circulation of the steam is assisted by a pump 3 or by the injector action of feedwater supplied under pressure.
