Abstract
349,717. Display stands. CLELAND, Ltd., W. W. and LUCE, R. C., Chichester House, Chancery Lane, London, April 11, 1930, No. 11503. [Class 52 (v).] A show card, price ticket, display stand, &c. of paper, cardboard, sheet-metal, &c. comprises a panel having a pair of tabs hinged to it, the inner edges of which can be drawn towards or over one another to be secured to one another or to a third tab by a tongue and slot or like connection. In the construction in Fig. 1, a panel 1 is provided with tabs 2, 3 hinged to it, as by scorings 4, the centre of the tab portion being cut away as at 5 and provided with a scoring or slit 6 and angular scorings to form two wings 7, 8, so that, as shown in Fig. 2, the tabs 2, 3, which form a horizontal base, may be drawn towards one another, and the wings 7, 8 folded upwards and secured together by a tongue and slot connection 9, 10. In another form, the wings 7, 8 are dispensed with, and the tabs 2, 3 are drawn one over the other and secured together by a tongue and slot connection. In the construction shown in Figs. 4 and 7, an additional tab 14 is hinged about a scoring 15 and is provided with scorings 16, 17, so that a display shelf is formed when the device is set up and secured by tongue and slot connections 18, 19.
