[Class 29.] A beef-chilling rack comprises a frame having a renewable two-piece fabric cover 10 and adapted to be suspended at one end from an overhead rail and supported upon adjustable legs at the other end. Adjustable flexible straps 6 hold the flank of a side of beef in an extended position. In a modification, the rack comprises a frame having a supporting net 31, Fig. 7. The racks may be supported horizontally one above another in a chilling chamber containing refrigerating coils and air circulation fans.
