Abstract
In a process of impregnating artificial felted fibrous materials or bodies such as paper, cardboard, pulp, papier m<\>zach<\>ae and hollow-cast pulp bodies, instead of the hard waxes employed in the parent Specification, molten Montan wax pitch, brown coal wax pitch and similar pitchy residues derived from wax-containing materials are used. Additions to the pitchy materials may include waxes such as "cable wax" (a mixture of Montanwax pitch and Montan wax), saponified waxes, resins, pitch and tarry products from other sources.
