Abstract

Iron alloys contain 0,5-5 per cent of copper, 0,5-6 per cent of silicon, 0,1-2 per cent of aluminium, and 0,1-2 per cent of carbon. Refining agents such as titanium, vanadium, and zirconium may be used, and these metals may be present in the product as follows: up to 0,25 per cent of titanium, up to 0,25 per cent of zirconium, and up to 0,5 per cent of vanadium.
