[Class 135.] Valve casings or bodies are formed from a blind. ended tubular blank I, Fig. 1, pressed from a solid billet, the inlet and outlet branches 2, 3, Fig. 3, being pressed out from the side and the open end swaged in, as at 4, to define an opening for the valve pindle. Flanges may be welded or otherwise attached to the branches and top opening.
