Abstract

343,586. Stacking packets. STONE, A. A. and MOLINS MACHINE CO., Ltd., 2, Evelyn Street, Deptford, London. Nov. 23, 1929, No. 35940. [Class 94 (i).] A delivery and stacking apparatus for packets comprises a rotary wheel having tangentially arranged pockets 2 into which the packets are thrust by pusher pieces 4 on a chain conveyer 3. After rotation through a right-angle, the packets are stripped from the pockets by a forked plate 5 which embraces the wheel, and remain on their ends in a horizontal shoot 6, along which they are passed by cam surfaces 8 on the wheel.
