342,137. Cartons for distributing salt &c. BATTSON, H., Carlton, Debdale Road, and CHAPMAN, Ltd., H. W., Stanley Road, both in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. Jan. 30, 1930, No. 3194. [Class 18.] A folding box or carton for salt, rice, sugar, cereals, &c. adapted to be used also as a liner for metal receptacles is formed from a blank shaped as shown in Fig. 1 with a cut-away portion at h and with segmental portions i, o defined by an arcuate slit and a line m of perforations, the portion i folding about a line l. When it is desired to pour out the contents the perforations are severed and the portions i, o turned outwards as shown in Fig. 5, the contents issuing through the aperture h.
