341,921. Shuttle pirns. TRIGGS, W. W., 57, Lincoln's Inn Fields, London.- (Maschinenfabrik Ruti vorm. C. Honegger ; Ruti, Zurich, Switzerland.) Oct. 23, 1929, No. 32166. [Classes 120 (ii), 120 (iii), and 142 (iii).] A braking-arrangement is inserted in the bore of a shuttle pirn for looms so as to be in direct contact with the wall of the pirn, the weft thread being passed through the bore in unwinding. As shown, the braking-arrangement comprises a piece of fur 4 inserted in the bore 3 of the pirn 1, the thread 2 being drawn through the fur. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 307,160, [Class 120 (ii), Spinning, twisting, &c.].
