[Classes 39 (ii) and 75 (iii).] Supporting.-An electric battery and lamp unit for use by pedestrians to indicate their position to vehicles comprises a casing a holding a battery and fitted with an extension e having a plurality of windows f adapted to direct the light from a bulb b in a number of different directions. A window may also be provided at the top of the extension. In place of the extension e, the projecting lamp b may be covered with white and red transparencies showing red to the rear and white to the front. Spring clips g, h or other devices are provided to secure the lamp to the arm.
