340,392. Displaying advertisements. GILLGAN, W. V., 128, York Drive, Glasgow, and McGHEE, C. M., Eglinton Place, Eaglesham, Renfrewshire. Sept. 3, 1930, No. 37158/29. [Class 3 (i). ] Reel and endless web apparatus; actuating.- Relates to devices of the type comprising a casing having a window at which is displayed an advertising band carried on rollers on one of which are mounted toothed wheels which contact with the periphery of a toilet paper roll so that the band is moved at each withdrawal of paper. The invention consists in providing apertures 10 in the casing 1 through which the toothed wheels 8 on the roller 3 project to engage the paper roll 6. The upper roller 4 is floatingly mounted and is pressed by springs 4<1> to tension the band 5.
