Draught inducers. - A fan-operated induced draught installation for furnaces applicable to ships' funnels and brickwork chimneys comprises a chimney, funnel or the like 2 divided by one or more longitudinal partitions 3 into a series of ducts each having a transverse partition 5, provided with an aperture in which is disposed an axial flow fan 4 rotating in a horizontal plane. Each fan is driven by an independent turbine 7 arranged in a recess 8.
