335,031. Owen, S. Aug. 26, 1929. Cushions, attaching to other articles. - An upholstered arm-chair or settee has fixed sides and back in which are formed channels, constituted in part by a flat wooden base 3 of the chair, which are of the full depth of a spring seating element 5 and overlap the margins thereof, the channels being open at the front to permit insertion and removal of the seat element. The front seat rail 4 of the chair is provided with a stop piece 7. In a modification the base board 3 is below the rails 4 and a second spring seat element can be placed in the recess thus formed.
