Abstract
333,716. Gray, T. July 20, 1929. Addition to 306,780. Cutting slices in succession; meat safes.-The apparatus for containing, preserving and cutting cooked tongue and other food-stuffs described in the parent Specification is modified by providing the container A with brackets D, D<1> in which an external longitudinal screw E is journaled, the screw being connected to a pusher plate J by a bent arm H which works along a slot C in the container. A plate G arranged over the screw closes the slot C. A detachable handle F is provided on the screw E. Pins or skewers L are inserted through holes K at the open end of the container. When not. in use, a cover or greased paper may be placed over the open end. The plate J is detachably screwed on the arm H to facilitate cleaning.
