Paper-supports strip and web feeding arrangements.-Machifolding pads or packs, adapted more particularly for use in typewriters, comprise a number of superposed paper strips 10, Fig. 1, with a separate carbon strip 13 interleaved between each pair, the strips being secured together by staples 15 or other means spaced along their lengths to keep them in registration during the making of entries thereon, and folded transversely into a zig-zag pile. To enable the pad to be fed regularly within a typewriter of the automatic or other type having a roller platen provided with feeding or aligning-pins 20, Fig. 3, one of the strips 10, preferably the bottom one, is formed with wide lateral margins 21 provided with a longitudinally extending series of apertures 23 to engage the feeding-pins, channelled fingers 24 being provided on the platen carriage to extend above the pins and retain the apertured margins upon the platen.
