Abstract

332,659. Yeomans, W. C. May 3, 1939. Moulds; moulding concrete railway sleepers.- An invertible concrete pot sleeper, with holes for tie-bars 3 and rail-securing bolts, and depressions near the rail seat for the rail clamps, is formed in a. mould consisting of a base 26 and; sides 27, 28. The sides are hinged at 29 and connected together by a hook 32 and eye 36. The sides have ledges receiving bars 43 with lugs tn form the depressions and holes for core-bars for the bolt-holes. Nuts 52 may be moulded into the base of the sleeper. 49, 50 are the reinforcing bars for the sleeper.
