Abstract

332,327. McLeod, A. S. March 10, 1930. Dog leashes.-A lead of the kind having one end connected to a spring-drum mounted within a suitable case is provided with means for securing the free end to the case. In one form (Fig. 1) the free end of the lead is attached to a U- shaped clip d' with an opening g in each end to engage a corresponding projection on the case c, while in another form (Fig. 3), a ring i on the free end of the lead is adapted to engage clips j on the side of the case c. The case may be secured to the animals' collar by rivets or by means of a spring-hook.
