Abstract

330,270. Anemostat, Ltd., and Hirchberg, L. M. March 4, 1929. Ventilators. - Apparatus for distributing air gases or vapours, e.g. at the air entry and exit of a dust settling chamber, comprises smooth coaxial partitions as in Specification 283,258, one. or more of which comprise pivotally mounted vanes adapted to form with the remainder of the partition a continuous surface, and to tilt when dust is deposited, and throw the dust off. The outer partitions 11, 12 are wholly fixed; the intermediate partitions are, each composed of aluminium &c. octants grooved to receive and be clipped to rods 16 pivotally mounted in stays 18 so that the octants normally remain balanced at the desired angle. Dust deposited on the movable partitions causes them to tilt and deposit the dust in the chamber.
