Abstract

328,741. Sarason, D. March 18, 1929. Plasters and adhesive bandages.-The adjacent edges of two planter strips a, a<1> adapted to be laced together contain bars b of nietal, celluloid, or other material, formed with outwardly bent hooks f. Before forming the hooks as by stamping &c., the bar b is wrapped in the edge of the strip so that hooks stamped out subsequently are covered by the material of the strip. To apply the bandage, two strips are placed as shown, the outside edges stuck down, and the inner edges with the hooks are turned back. The wound which lies between the strips is covered with dressing material over which the hook portions of the two strips are now folded and laced together.
