Abstract
328,296. Sabarthez, H. Dec. 17, 1928, [Convention date]. Ventilation systems.- Air is passed through a heating or cooling device into a conduit 17, Fig. 2, having a flared mouth 18 discharging centrally into a duct 13 which communicates with the compartment being ventilated, and a fan 14 is employed for circulating in the duct 13 a current of air which induces a flow of hot or cold air from the conduit 17 into the duct 13. The air circulated by the fan may be obtained from the compartment being ventilated. The duct 13 is arranged in the upper part of the compartment, and is provided with air outlets as shown in Fig. 3 and also inlets in the form of pipes 21 which have flared ends and communicate with the lower part of the compartment. A shutter determines whether the pipe 17 communicates with a chamber 4, having heating-coils 10, or a chamber 3, having cooling pipes 7, as shown in Fig. 1. The cooling pipes 7 are connected with a brine chamber 1. 2 containing an ice. mould 6 and pipes 5 communicate with a refrigerating- machine.
