Hinged-sliding windows.-The lower of two hinged-sliding sashes is adapted to engage the slotted members of hinges N attached to the frame and the upper rail of the top sash is provided with studs F adapted to engage bayonet slots B in one leaf of a hinge A<1>, A secured to the top rail of the lower sash. The sashes may be rotated when the parting and inside beads are hinged or removed and the sash cord disconnected at the edges away from the hinge.
