Abstract
327,710. Gramophone Co., Ltd., and Bailey, C. E. G. Jan. 9, 1929. Thermionic heterodyne receivers.-In a supersonic heterodyne receiver embodying two tunable circuits with variable condensers 3, 6 having interconnected tuning-controls, one circuit is tuned to the frequency of received oscillations and the other tunes a local generator 7, and a compensating variable inductance 2 in one of the circuits is used to equalize the inductance of the two circuits. The variable inductance is in series with a frame aerial 1 or an inductance 5 (Fig. 2, not shown).
