Water-tube boilers.-In a boiler of the crossdrum Babcock and Wilcox type, the cross drum 4 is connected directly to the uptake headers 6 by the usual circulation tubes 11 and indirectly by circulation tubes 12, which open into boxes 10 arranged above the headers and connected to them by nipples 9.
