Abstract

325,934. Berry, H. H. Jan. 1, 1929. Imitation fires.- The front 7, or a portion thereof, is movable to enable the top portion 3 of the imitation fuel to be slid forward to give access to the internal parts of the fire. In the form shown the whole of the front may be turned down about pivots 8 out of the path of the slab 3, which slides in guides 6. Alternatively, the front may be adapted to be lifted out, or the top portion only may be pivoted or removable. The fire shown is provided with a coloured screen 10 through which light from the flicker device passes before striking the back, and with a heating- element 11 in a reflector 12.
