Table games.-Apparatus for playing a table game in imitation of a field game employing a goal is of the type comprising a table having a series of openings corresponding to player positions and a series of ball-propelling members adapted selectively to be projected upwards through the openings to propel the ball and normally resting below the table, and has some of the ball-propelling members adapted to direct the ball for passing to another player position and others adapted for propelling at the goal. A hollow box A has a top B marked out with the lines usually employed in the game and is preferably very slightly cupped so that the ball tends to roll towards the centre of the field. Holes b, c are formed in the table to represent positions of players, the holes c representing the positions of goal-shooting forwards and the holes b of other players who pass to the forwards. Very narrow shallow grooves d are formed from one player position to another to facilitate passing. Corresponding to each hole b there is a foot-lever e carrying a boot h which is actuated by a corresponding spring-returned plunger f. Corresponding foot-levers and plungers are provided for taking corners. Corresponding to each hole c there is a boot carried by the lever l and actuated through the cable m by the handle n. Goal-keepers p are mounted on rods q capable of being rocked by handles r. The field is formed with an encircling fence s of strands of rubber elastic. Any suitable form of coin-freed apparatus may be used for releasing a ball.
