Abstract

323,372. Photomaton Parent Corporation, Ltd., and SippÚ, S. V. Jan. 7, 1929. Optical-projection apparatus.-Combined apparatus for projecting and viewing an enlarged image of a photograph or 0ther picture comprises a casing 1, Fig. 2, adjustable means 2 for supporting the picture, one or more lamps 5 for illuminating the picture, an adjustable projecting lens 4, a screw 7 and a viewing aperture 3. The picture holding device 2, is mounted on the outside of the casing 1 and consists of a box 13, Fig. 3, with slots 15, 14 by which the picture strip enters and emerges, a guide plate 18 by which it may be clamped in any required position by a screw 21, and a resilient roller 16 by which the position of the strip is adjusted. A light-tight casing 6, with a cover 6<a> contains the lamps and carries the lens. Two holding devices 2 may be mounted on the casing for the purpose of comparing two pictures projected simultaneously.
