322,569. Igranic Electric Co., Ltd., and Hodgson, A. D'A. Sept. 29, 1928. Thermionic amplifiers. - Relates to means for permitting a small polarizing curent to flow through the primary windings of an intervalve transformer, whilst avoiding saturation of the iron core. The plate of the valve 2 is connected directly to the high-tension supply through a resistance 1, across which the primary windings 3 are shunted in series with a blocking condenser 4 shunted by a resistance 8. In Fig. 2 the primary windings of the transformer are shunted across the plate and filament of the valve.
