Abstract

320,394. Kaempfer, D. June 13, 1928. Materials, actuating. - Paraffins or olefines which are capable of liquefaction at low pressures are stored in the liquid state in vessels on a moving vehicle carrying the internal-combustion engine to be supplied with fuel. In use the fuel passes automatically into the gaseous state from the storage vessel, its supply to the engine being regulated by a reducing valve, regulatable from the driver's seat. An expansion vessel, such as an indiarubber bag, may be included in the supply line. Methane and ethylene are not included in the fuels to be used.
