Abstract

318,666. Rutnagur, S. M. June 7, 1928. Skate collectors; conductors for electricity; guards f o r conductors. - Skate collectors R carried by crossbars S, S<1> secured to bow frames or pantographs D are retained by guard wires C, C<1> projecting below the level of the short contacts P. The short contacts P are supported by arms B, and uprights A between or on each side cf the tracks, the feeder being overhead or underground. The collectors extend the length of each vehicle and are connected together by cham or wire joints. In a modification, a single guide wire is arranged between pairs of contacts engaged by pairs of collectors on the vehicles.
