Abstract
315,629. Scheinemann, F., and Seiffert & Co., Akt.-Ges., F. Sept. 27, 1928. Gascs, treating with liquids. - To cool superheated steam by spraying water into it, the steam and water spray are passed through and mixed between a number of finely perforated partitions d in a chamber b. Steam from the inlet a and water spray from the perforated ring-shaped pipe c flow downwards through the outer parts of the partitions, around the lower end of a central pipe f and upwards through the central parts of the partitions to the outlet g. Excess water is led off through a pipe h.
