Abstract

311,038. Javouhey, L. March 7, 1928. External fittings.-A feeding-bottle 1, preferably of the double-ended type, is provided with a thermometer 5, the stem of which is mounted in a recess 6 in the side of the bottle and secured by cellulose cement &c. The bulb 7 projects inwards through a hole in the side of the bottle, and is covered by a cap 9 of rubber to form a tight joint. The stem of the thermometer may be covered by a rubber sleeve having open portions 12 through which the graduations may be seen. The sleeve may form an extension of the cap 9. Flat rubber &c. bands 19, 20 may be disposed as shown in recesses to secure the thermometer in position and to act as protective devices. The thermometer may be of flat form, with an opal back.
