Abstract
310,840. Sõchsische Maschinenfabrik vorm. R. Hartmann Akt.-Ges. May 1, 1928, [Convention date]. Drawing-frames; lap-forming apparatus; sliverrubbing apparatus.-Sliver from drawing-frames is condensed, as by imparting a false twist thereto by rub-aprons or revolving tubes, and wound into bobbins a by a suitable machine, such as that described in Specification 293,421, so that it may be used in the creel of a spinning-machine and subjected to a high draft, as by the means described in Specification 185,733, [Class 120 (ii), Spinning, twisting, &c.], comprising three sets of rollers d, a twist tube e and leather aprons c, and spun into yarn whereby flyer frames are dispensed with. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also means for condensing the sliver and winding it into the bobbin form combined with the drawing-frame or directly applied to the carding-engine. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
