Abstract

310,221. Pereyron, F. June 5, 1928. Creel arrangements; stopmotions.-In an automatic warning and/or stopping device operated upon breakage of the thread when unwinding from creel bobbins 5. Fig. 2, one end, or both ends, of the bobbin spindle 4 is maintained at the top of an incline 7, Fig. 3, while the thread is unbroken, but on breakage-the pulley 6 runs by gravity down the incline to make contact with a strip 11, thereby closing an electric circuit and operating an alarm and stop-motion. In the arrangement shown the other end of each spindle 4 is supported in a recess 3 in a vertical T-iron 2.
