Abstract

308,396. Capmany, J. Jan. 13, 1928. Macadamized roads; foundations. - A reinforced paving for roads is formed by (1) a foundation layer or layers of concrete 1, having embedded therein or placed thereon a metallic reinforcement 2, 3, and (2) a superposed layer of non-bituminous cement in which stones 4 are embedded by compression to form a hard wearing surface. A carpet layer of cement, mortar, or asphalt may be added which also serves to complete the filling of the interstices.
