Abstract

Folding and extensible seats.-A folding seat structure comprises a number of seat elements normally stacked one above the other so that the upper one alone can be used, and so connected, by links, with their support, that the upper seat element or elements may be displaced laterally to provide two or more seats, side-byside. The drawings show such a structure comprising seats 2, 3 connected with their support 23, 24, by linkwork 19, 20, 21, 22, 29, 31. The support 23, 24 may itself be carried by links 8, 9 pivoted at 60, 70 to members 6, 7.
