Abstract

306,355. Stein, L. June 28, 1928. Aeroplanes; planes, arrangement and construction of; steering and balancing. - An aeroplane has fixed planes 6, 7, of greater length than span, secured to the sides of the fuselage from end to end and a fixed upper plane structure 9, of greater area, above it. The plane structure 9 is provided with tail planes 11 which are actuated in conjunction with similar planes on the end of the fuselage. Figs. 4 and 5 show alternative shapes for the plane structure.
